Nepal to receive Rs. 16.37 billion from World Bank

The World Bank (WB) is to provide an assistance of Rs 16 billion 371 million and 300 thousand to Nepal for promotion of youth employment and school sector development.

The WB has agreed to provide Rs 13.63 billion for the implementation of Transformation for Youth Employment Project and Rs 2 billion741 million and 300 thousand for the operation of the School Sector Development Programme, the Ministry of Finance said.

An agreement to this effect is being signed today.
