Nepal Infrastructure Bank Closing Issue of “Nifra Urja Debenture 2088/89” from Jestha 25

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Ltd. (NIFRA) is currently issuing a debenture named “6% Nifra Urja Debenture 2088/89”.
The debenture offering is open from Jestha 18, 2082 BS. The issue will close on Jestha 25, 2082 BS.
The bank is floating 50 lakh units of debenture that amounts to Rs. 5 Arba. Out of the total issue, the bank will sell 30 lakh units debenture worth Rs. 3 Arba through private placement. Likewise, the general public can apply for the remaining 20 lakh units that amount to Rs. 2 Arba.
The debenture will provide 6 percent interest per annum to the investors. The maturity period of the debenture is 7 years. Hence, the finance will refund the principal amount in 2088/89.
Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 10,00,000 units.
For this purpose, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has permission to the company on Baisakh 30, 2082 BS. NIFRA had submitted the application to the board on Karthik 14, 2081 BS. Only after the approval from the regulatory body SEBON, the bank can sell the debenture to the public.
NIMB Ace Capital Limited is the issue and sales manager for the debenture issuance. An agreement has been inked between the bank and NIMB Ace Capital on this regard.
