Petroleum Price Update: Price of Petrol Hikes, Diesel & Kerosene Falls

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has changed the price of petroleum products. With effect from Sunday, the government has decreased the price of  petrol by Rs. 5 per liter and the price of diesel and kerosene by Rs. 4 per liter. However, the price of LP gas has remained unchanged.

As per the new price, petrol is priced at Rs 163 per liter, while the diesel and kerosene is priced at Rs 151 per liter (in Kathmandu). Similarly, the LP gas  costs Rs 1,910 per cylinder. 

On June 20, 2022, the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene had reached an all time high price of Rs 199 per litre, Rs. 192 per litre and Rs. 192 per liter respectively.
