Petroleum Price Update: Price of Petrol Drops to Rs. 171 per Litre

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has changed the price of petroleum products. To be effective from Thursday, the government has decreased the price of petrol by Rs. 7 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs. 5 per liter. However, the price of LP gas has remained unchanged.

As per the new price, petrol is priced at Rs 171 per liter, while the diesel and kerosene are priced at Rs 154 per liter (in Kathmandu). Similarly, the LP gas  costs Rs 1,910 per cylinder. 

Earlier on June 20, 2022, the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene had reached an all time high price of Rs 199 per litre, Rs. 192 per litre and Rs. 192 per liter respectively.
