Rastriya Banijya Bank Starts Credit Card Service With A Credit Limit Of Rs 20,000 To Rs 500,000

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited has started a credit card service. Ram Sharan Pudasaini, Chairman of the Bank, launched the service by handing over a credit card to the bank’s customer and Chairman of Asian Life Insurance Company Deepak Kumar Shrestha. 

Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said that the bank is moving towards full digital banking after the introduction of credit cards. The credit card service will avail in Nepal, India, and Bhutan.

Deepak Kumar Shrestha, Chairman of Asian Life Insurance, expressed happiness to be the first credit card customer of the bank.

Devesh Prasad Lohani, deputy executive officer of the bank, said that credit cards will be offered at cheap interest rates. Similarly, the credit limit will range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 500,000 depending on the income source and payment capacity of the customer. 

The credit card customers of the bank will have the facility to make daily payments, do online shopping, and withdraw cash within the prescribed limits. 

The bank currently has 247 branch offices, 209 ATMs, and 98 branchless banking in 77 districts.
