Synergy Power Development Proposes 10.5263 Percent Dividend | To Issue 50 Percent Right After Proposed Bonus

Synergy Power Development Limited (SPDL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2077/78.

The hydropower company has proposed a 10.5263 percent dividend. This includes a 10 percent bonus share and 0.5263 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2078 BS, Synergy Power Development has a paid-up capital of Rs 73.32 crores. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 7.33 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 35.51 lakhs.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming annual general meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2076/77, SPDL had distributed a 5 percent dividend, including a 4.75 percent bonus share and a 0.25 percent cash dividend.

Similarly, the company has also decided to take the agenda of issuing the right share in the ratio 2:1 to its upcoming AGM. If approved by the annual meeting, the company will sell 50 percent right share on the capital after the adjustment of the proposed bonus share.
