Registration Of Ride Sharing Service Providers Mandatory

Ride sharing service providers like Pathao and Tootle will have to register with the transport office under the state government. The Bagmati state government has made provision for the company providing ride sharing service to be registered in the transport office under the state government and has also fixed the registration fee.

Ride sharing service providers will have to get permission for ride sharing service by Chaitra end, 2079 BS.

The registration fee for a company that hires passengers using only two-wheelers through app has been fixed at Rs 25,000 while a company providing services through four-wheelers has to pay Rs 50,000. The registration fee of the company, which provides both two-wheelers and four-wheelers for rent through the app, has been fixed at Rs 70,000.

The Bagmati state government has fixed a renewal fee of Rs 12,500 for two-wheelers, Rs 25,000 for four-wheelers and Rs 35,000 per annum for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
