Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana to Invest in Sumnima Hydropower Company

Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) has informed about the investment in Sumnima Hydropower Company Private Limited.
The company’s board of directors’ meeting held on Ashwin 7, 2081 BS has decided to invest a minimum of 51 percent equity in the company.
Sumnima Hydropower company is developing two hydropower projects, namely, a 4.9 MW Upper Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Project and a 4.1 MW Pikhuwa Pashupati Hydroelectric Project in Bhojpur district.
Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) is currently operating a 5-MW Upper Hugdi Khola Hydropower Project in the Gulmi District. The project commenced electricity production on March 23, 2015.
