Samata Gharelu Laghubitta to Provide 5.2632 Percent Dividend from FY 2081/82

Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) has declared the dividend from the fiscal year 2081/82.

The microfinance company has announced a 5.2632 percent dividend to its shareholders. The total dividend amounts to Rs 3.31 crores.

Out of the total dividend, the company has proposed a 5 percent bonus share worth Rs 3.14 crores. Likewise, the 0.2632 percent cash dividend is worth Rs 16.55 lakhs.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2080/81 as well, the company had distributed a 5.2632 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus share. Likewise, from the fiscal year 2079/80, SMATA had provided a 5.7076 percent dividend, including a 5.4222 percent bonus share a a 0.2854 percent cash dividend.

Similarly, from the fiscal year 2078/79, the microfinance company had distributed an 18 percent dividend, including a 15 percent bonus share and a 3 percent cash dividend. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2077/78, SMATA had provided a 25 percent dividend including a 20 percent bonus share and a 5 percent cash dividend.

In the fiscal year 2076/77, the company had distributed a 26.32 percent dividend to the shareholders, including a 20 percent bonus share. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2075/76, Samata Gharelu Laghubitta had provided a 31.58 percent including a 15 percent bonus share and 16.58 percent cash dividend.

At the end of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, Samata Gharelu Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 62.90 crores. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs 66.05 crores.
