Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Proposes 14 Percent Dividend

Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SKBBL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2080/81.

The microfinance has proposed a 14 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 13.30 percent bonus share and a 0.70 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). The company is planning to distribute Rs 50.62 crores worth of bonus shares and Rs 2.66 crores worth of cash dividend.

From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, SKBBL had distributed a 15 percent dividend, including a 14.25 percent bonus share and a 0.75 percent cash dividend.

As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs. 380.63 crores. After the inclusion of the bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 431.25 crores.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of microfinance.
