Sarbottam Cement Limited Proposes 20 Percent Dividend

Sarbottam Cement Limited (SARBTM) has declared a dividend to its shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2081/82.

The board meeting of the company held on Karthik 28, 2082 BS has proposed a 20 percent dividend to the shareholders. The total dividend includes a 5 percent bonus share and and a 15 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2082 BS, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs 4.97 Arba. At this capital, the total dividend amounts to Rs 99.51 crores.

The dividend is subject to approval from its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, the company had distributed a 10 percent dividend to the shareholders, including a 7 percent bonus share and a 3 percent cash dividend.

Sarbottam Cement Limited was established in October 2010 as a private limited company. Later in July 2019, it was transformed into a public company in order to issue shares to the general public.

The company produces and sells clinker and cement, mainly OPC and PPC cement under the brand “Sarbottam”. The production capacity of the company is approximately 1 million metric tons per annum (MTPA) for both clinker and grinding.

Sarbottam Cement is promoted by Saurabh Group, a prominent business house of Nepal.
