Siddhartha Bank Issuing “7.25%, SBL Debenture 2091” from Ashad 29

Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) is currently issuing a debenture named “7.25%, SBL Debenture 2091”. The bank is selling 25 lakh units of debenture that amounts to Rs. 2.5 Arba. Out of the total issue, the bank will sell 15 lakh units debenture worth Rs. 1.5 Arba through private placement. Likewise, the general public can apply for the remaining 10 lakh units that amount to Rs. 1 Arba.

The debenture offering is open from Ashad 29, 2082 BS. If fully subscribed, the issue will close on Ashad 32, 2082 BS. However, if it remains under-subscribed until that period, the deadline for application will extend until Shrawan 11, 2082 BS.

Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of full units.

For this purpose, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has given the approval to the bank on Ashad 6, 2082 BS. SBL had submitted the application to the board on Falgun 11, 2081 BS. Only after the approval from the regulatory body SEBON, the bank can sell the debenture to the public.

The debenture will provide 7.25 percent interest per annum to the investors. The maturity period of the debenture is 10 years. Hence, the finance will refund the principal amount in 2091 BS.

NMB Capital Limited is the issue and sales manager for the debenture issuance. An agreement has been inked between the bank and NMB Capital on this regard.
