Dolma Impact Fund-2 To Invest In 22 MW Seti Khola Hydroelectric Project

Dolma Impact Fund-2 has invested about Rs. 45.85 crores ($3.5 million) as equity in Seti Khola Hydropower Limited. The company is currently developing a 22 MW Seti Khola Hydroelectric Project in Kaski.
The project is a run-of-river type project that will produce 133 gigawatt hours of electricity annually.
Setikhola Hydropower Limited received the construction license for the Setikhola Hydroelectric Project (HEP) from the Department of Electricity Development (DOED) on Poush 2, 2077 BS. The construction license is valid until Poush 1, 2112 BS.
The company has already completed the financial management of the 22 MW project. The financial management letter of the project promoted by Seti Khola Hydropower Project was signed on Ashwin 2077 BS.
Kumari Bank, Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) and Nabil Bank are providing the loan financing for the project. The remaining investment required for the project will be injected by the promoters.
The project is targeted to be completed within the next year. Three kilometers of the tunnel is being constructed and an eight hundred meters long penstock pipe will be connected in the project.
