Standard Chartered Bank Nepal (SCB) Introduces New Interest Rate

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal (SCB) has published a new interest rate for its deposit and loan products. The interest rate is applicable from July 16, 2022 [Shrawan 1, 2079 BS].

The bank will provide up to 6.15 percent in its savings deposit. Likewise, the individual fixed deposit will offer as high as a 11.03 percent interest rate.

Standard Chartered Bank provides loans with a premium above the base rate up to 7.50 percent. The base rate of the bank as of Jestha’s end, 2079 BS is 8.18 percent. Likewise, the interest rate spread is 4.12 percent.
