Supermai Hydropower Reports 41 Percent Drop In Profit [Q3 Report]

Supermai Hydropower Company Limited (SMH) has posted a net profit of Rs 4.83 crores until the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2079/80. As per the unaudited report, the profit has decreased by 41 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Last year, the hydropower had earned Rs 8.22 crores during the same period.
As of Chaitra’s end 2079 BS, SMH has a paid-up capital of Rs 50 crores with Rs 4.76 crores in reserve and surplus. The company has generated Rs 17.14 crores as income from sale of electricity.
