Forbes has released the list of richest people of China in 2019. Jack Ma, the founder of the e-commerce giant is at the top of the list with the net worth of $38.2 billion. In 2018, Jack Ma’s net worth stood at $34.6 billion. He has already resigned as chairman of the company in September this year.
Jack Ma is closely followed by Ma Huateng, CEO and Co-founder of Tencent Holdings. Wechat, the popular social messaging app with more than 1 billion users is under Tencent. Ma, who co-founded the company in 1998 is currently worth $36 billion.
