United Insurance Appoints First Woman CEO In Insurance Sector

United Insurance Company (Nepal) Ltd. has appointed Upasana Poudel as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the next four year. With her appointment, she has become the first woman chief executive officer of the insurance sector. On the other hand, she has been reinstated to the prestigious post at the youngest age of 34 years.
Ms Poudel has more than a decade of work experience. She has completed her MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of Delhi University, India.
She started her career in the field of insurance business in India. She was currently working as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of United Insurance. Satisfied with her performance, the company has appointed her as the Chief Executive Officer.
