Volkswagen’s New SUV ‘Taigun’ Unveiled In Nepal

Pooja International, the official dealer of Volkswagen for Nepal, has unveiled the new Volkswagen’s Taigun SUV in Nepal. The new compact SUV Taigun is powered by a world-class 1.0-liter turbocharged engine which produces 114 Hz power and 178 Nm of torque.
The new SUV will be available in the four showrooms of Pooja International in Kathmandu and dealers in Birtamod, Biratnagar, Narayanghat, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Dang, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara.
The Volkswagen Taigun can reach a speed of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 9.1 seconds, as claimed by the company. It has a 10-inch infotainment system, full digital cluster, front ventilated seat, hill assist control, electric moonroof, LED taillights, and other state-of-the-art features.
The Volkswagen Taigun has a stylish bold exterior with fresh and vibrant designs. The muscular grille on the front is fully integrated with LED Daytime Running Headlights (DRLs), the company said. The company claims that the Taigun is suitable for Nepali roads due to its high ground clearance and long wheelbase.
Volkswagen’s Taigun will be available in three variants. Of the three variants, Taigun Comfortline has a starting price of Rs 50.90 lakhs. Likewise, the starting price of the Taigun Highline is Rs 63.90 lakhs and that of Taigun Topline is Rs 69.90 lakh.
