Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Merges With Samaj Laghubitta | Joint Operation from Karthik 2

Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Santha Limited (GBLBS) and Samaj Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) have successfully undergone merger/acquisition. After the merger, the joint operation will commence in the name of ‘Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Santha Limited’ from Karthik 2, 2082 BS.
For this purpose, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has given the Letter of Intent (LOI) to the companies on Jestha 22, 2082 BS.
Earlier, the two microfinance companies have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for merger/acquisition on Falgun 17, 2081 BS [March 1, 2025].
As of Ashads end 2082 BS, Grameen Bikas Laghubittaa has a paid-up capital of Rs. 98.25 crores. The head office is located at Butwal, Rupandehi. Likewise, Samaj Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs. 2.28 crores with head office at Malangawa, Sarlahi.
