Muktinath Bikas Bank Declares 10.26 Percent Dividend

Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited (MNBBL), the leading national-level development bank of Nepal, has declared a dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the profit of the fiscal year 2079/80.

The board meeting of the bank held on Poush 5, 2080 BS has proposed a 10.2632 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 9.75 percent bonus share and a 0.7105 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, Muktinath Bikas Bank had distributed a 14.2105 percent dividend including a 13.50 percent bonus share and 0.5132 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, the development bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 6.42 Arba. After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs 7.04 Arba.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
