Chilime Hydropower Proposes 12 Percent Dividend

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2081/82.
The hydropower company has proposed a 12 percent dividend. The total dividend includes an 8 percent bonus share and a 4 percent cash dividend. The company is planning to distribute Rs 70.25 crores worth of bonus shares and Rs 35.12 crores worth of cash dividends.
From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, Chilime Hydropower had distributed a 12 percent dividend including a 10 percent bonus share and a 2 percent cash dividend.
As of Ashad’s end 2082 B.S., Chilime Hydropower has a paid-up capital of Rs. 8.78 Arba. After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 9.48 Arba.
The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
