Chilime Hydropower Proposes 15 Percent Dividend From FY 2079/80

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2079/80.

The board meeting of the company held on Mangsir 22, 2080 BS has proposed a 15 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 10 percent bonus share and a 5 percent cash dividend. The company is planning to distribute Rs 72.58 crores worth of bonus shares and Rs 36.29 crores worth of cash dividends.

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, Chilime Hydropower had distributed a 15 percent dividend including a 7.5 percent bonus share and a 7.5 percent cash dividend.

As of Ashad’s end 2080 B.S., Chilime Hydropower has a paid-up capital of Rs. 7.25 Arba. After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 7.97 Arba.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming  Annual General Meeting (AGM).  It is planning to organize its 27th AGM on Poush 20, 2080 BS. For the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution, the book closure date is on Poush 8, 2080 BS. Hence, the investors holding/purchasing the shares of CHCL until Poush 7 will receive the dividend.
