All Or None (AON) Feature To Be Removed From TMS

July 1, 2022 | Investopaper

The ‘All Or None’ (AON) feature used while buying and selling shares has been removed under the direction of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). The board has agreed to remove AON on the initiative of the committee formed to implement the 19-point demand of investors.

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) will now remove the AON feature from the Trading Management System (TMS) from next week.

When using the AON feature, only the total number of lots you want to buy or sell at the agreed price is traded.

AON was cleverly used in trading to show buying or selling pressure creating artificial demand and supply.
