Api Power Completes Construction Of Solar Power Project (4 MW) In Rautahat

Api Power Limited has developed a solar power project in Rautahat. The solar project has already started commercial power generation and is connected to the substation of Nepal Electricity Authority at Chandrapur through 33 kV transmission line. The capacity of the project 4 megawatts.
The project will generate up to 500,000 units of electricity monthly. The project has already started generating electricity from solar power by connecting 11,112 solar panels of 400 watts in 12 bighas area in Chandrapur-5.
The company has signed the Power Purchase Agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for 25 years. According to the project, NEA has agreed to purchase electricity generated from the project at the rate of Rs 7.30 per unit.
The project design, equipment import, construction, connection and operation work has been done by Kushal Projects Nepal Company.
