Cheque Clearing Time Extended To 3 P.M.

Nepal Clearing House Limited has extended the time for clearing cheque. Due to the huge surge in the digital payments in recent times, the clearing house has increased the cheque clearing time from 9 am to 3 pm.
As per the new provision, the IPS system will be operational from 9 am to 3 pm from Sunday to Thursday. Earlier, this service was operated only from 10 am to 1 pm.
The service, which has been operating for only three hours previously, has now been extended to six hours daily, according to the clearing house.
