Chinese top diplomat told the US visiting delegation that the United States must respect China’s right to develop and become prosperous. He also repeated that the country would welcome the outsiders by widening the door to them.

The US had previously charged China of unfair trade practices alleging the former of forcing technology transfers.

Further, China also said that its citizens also have a right to live a quality life. In order to resolve the ongoing disputes, US must realize that China’s development is also in the interest of all along with the US and this is important if the trade dispute is to come into an end, according to State Councilor Wang Yi.

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that the trade talks with China were going well and suggested that the deadline date would be pushed back from March 1 to complete negotiations. The tariffs on imports which has been reduced to 10 percent would rise again to 25 percent if the negotiations between the countries fail.
