Devendra Raman Khanal Appointed as CEO of Rastriya Banijya Bank

Devendra Raman Khanal has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rastriya Banijya Bank.

The bank’s board of directors chose Khanal from a shortlist of five candidates. Alongside Khanal, the shortlisted candidates included Krishna Bahadur Adhikari, Prakash Chandra Akiari, Bishnudev Yadav, and Shankar KC. Following presentations and interviews with all candidates, the executive committee decided to appoint Khanal as the CEO.

The position of Chief Executive became vacant after the retirement of the former CEO, Kiran Kumar Shrestha. Previously, Khanal served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the bank.

Khanal is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in the banking industry. He will serve as CEO for the next four years.
