Everest Bank Announces 20.53 Percent Dividend from FY 2079/80

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has proposed a dividend for the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2079/80.
The board meeting of the bank held on Bhadra 27, 2080 BS has declared a 20.53 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 10 percent bonus share and a 10.53 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes as well).
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of the bank.
As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, Everest Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs. 10.69 Arba. After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs. 11.76 Arba.
From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, Everest Bank had distributed a 20.68 percent dividend, including a 13 percent bonus share and a 7.68 percent cash dividend.
