Everest Bank Announces 15.53 Percent Dividend from FY 2080/81

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has proposed a dividend for the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2080/81.
The board meeting of the bank held on Bhadra 21, 2081 BS has declared a 15.53 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 10 percent bonus share and a 5.53 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes as well).
The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of the bank.
As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, Everest Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs. 11.76 Arba. After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs. 12.94 Arba.
From the previous fiscal year 2079/80, Everest Bank had distributed a 20.53 percent dividend, including a 10 percent bonus share and a 10.53 percent cash dividend.
