Global IME Capital Issuing 1.2 Crore Units ‘Global IME Samunnat Yojana-II’ Scheme from Ashad 22

Global IME Capital Limited has launched a new mutual fund scheme named “Global IME Samunnat Yojana-II”. The fund manager is currently issuing 12 crores units at a par value of Rs. 10 from Ashad 22, 2082 BS. Hence, the total issue amounts to Rs. 120 crores.

If fully subscribed, the scheme offering will close on Ashad 25, 2082 BS. However, if it remains under-subscribed until that period, the deadline for application will extend until Shrawan 4, 2082 BS.
For this purpose, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has given the approval to the company on Jestha 7, 2082 BS. Only after the permission from the regulatory body SEBON, the mutual fund scheme can be floated to the general public. The fund manager had submitted the application to the board on Chaitra 19, 2079 BS.
The close-ended scheme “Global IME Samunnat Yojana-II” will operate under “Global IME Mutual Fund”.
Out of the total public issue, 13.5 percent or 1.62 crore units of the fund will be purchased by Global IME Bank Limited, the promoter of the mutual fund. Likewise, Global IME Capital Limited, the fund manager of the scheme will purchase 1.5 percent or 18 lakh units of the scheme.
Therefore, the general public can subscribe for the remaining 10.20 crore units of the scheme.
Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of 1.2 crore units.
After the allotment of the scheme, it will be listed and traded on the Nepal stock exchange.
