Hetauda Cement Industry Resumes Operation After Three Months

November 2, 2022 | Investopaper

The government-owned Hetauda Cement Industry has resumed operations from Monday night.

The industry was closed for about three months due to financial problems and lack of coal supply. Currently, the industry has raw materials that can last for about 8-10 days.

Tenders have been invited for coal supply. Soon the coal needed for the industry will be supplied from India, Bhutan, Indonesia and other countries.

Hetauda Cement Industry is planning to make necessary repairs and build a new plant with the proceeds from the sale of the land owned by the industry.
