Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company (HIDCL) is organizing its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today i.e Poush 28, 2076. The Annual Meeting is taking place at Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The AGM started after 11 AM.
Major Agendas:
Discussion and approval of financial reports of the fiscal year 2075/76.
Endorsement of a 12 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.
Appointment of auditor for the fiscal year 2076/77.
Book Closure Date:
For the distribution of dividend and AGM purpose, HIDCL had fixed the book closure date from Poush 17, 2076. Therefore, the investors purchasing/holding shares until Poush 16 are eligible for the dividend and can participate in the annual meeting.
Performance in Fiscal Year 2075/76
HIDCL has earned Rs. 109.60 crores in the fiscal year 2075/76. The net profit in the previous year stood at Rs. 80.80 crores.
The Earnings Per Share (EPS) is Rs. 9.96. With the addition from the accumulated reserve, the company has proposed a 12% cash dividend worth Rs. 132 crores. The current paid-up capital stands at Rs. 11 Arba.
