Five Star Hotel Himal Water Park And Village Resort Coming Into Operation In Birgunj

A five-star hotel and resort is about to come into operation for the first time in Birgunj. Himal Water Park and Village Resort will come into operation in Bahuari of Birgunj with an investment of around Rs 1 billion.
The hotel is established by a a young entrepreneur from Birgunj, Sunil Kumar Khaitan. About 65 percent work of the five-star hotel has been completed. The structure of the hotel is spread over 92,000 square feet. The construction of the hotel started from 2073 BS.
Himal Water Park and Village Hotel is the first international hotel chain of the India’s leading hotel brand Clarks Group of Hotels. Clarks group is currently operating 39 hotels across India, including Jaipur, Lucknow and Agra.
The hotel will have 60 rooms including 4 Executive Suites, 8 Suites, 24 King and 16 Twin. The building on the hotel side is under construction. The hotel has a meeting hall with a capacity of 2,000 people, four other halls with a capacity of 150 to 300 people and three more halls with a capacity of 15 to 50 people. The hotel is operating a convention hall and restaurant since Mangsir 15.
The hotel will have a casino, in-house bakery, swimming pool, open air theater for concert, park, open air kitchen, recreation room for children, bar, lounge, snooker and indoor play area and gym club.
Once the hotel is fully operational, more than 50 people will get employment. Khaitan claimed that the hotel will be fully operational within a year. He is also the vice-president of the Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
Himal Water Park and Village Hotel is the second international chain hotel after Dayalo Lord’s Plaza in Birgunj. Hotel Dayalo Lords is a four-star hotel established by a young industrialist Anil Rungta.
