Laxmi Capital Closing IPO Of “Laxmi Value Fund-II” From Shrawan 19

Laxmi Capital Market Limited has launched a new mutual fund scheme named “Laxmi Value Fund-II”. The fund manager is currently issuing 8 crores units of the scheme from Shrawan 5, 2080 BS. At a par value of Rs. 10, the total issue amounts to Rs. 80 crores.
The public offering will close on Shrawan 19, 2080 BS. If fully subscribed, the scheme offering was set to close on Shrawan 9, 2080 BS. However, due to under-subscription until that period, the deadline for application was extended.
Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and the maximum of 80 lakh units.

For this purpose, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) provided approval on Jestha 8, 2080 BS. The fund manager had submitted the application to the board on Baisakh 29, 2079 BS.
The close-ended scheme “Laxmi Value Fund-II” will operate under the fund “Laxmi Mutual Fund”.
Out of the total public issue, 15 percent or 1.2 crore units of the fund will be purchased by Laxmi Bank, the promoter bank of the mutual fund. Hence, the general public can participate in the remaining 6.8 crore units.
After the allotment of the scheme, it will be listed and traded on the Nepal stock exchange.
