Century Bank To Invest In 4.06 MW Lower Chirkhwa Khola Hydropower Project

Century Commercial Bank Limited (CCBL) has completed the financial closure of the Lower Chirkhwa Khola Hydropower Project.

As per the agreement between the bank and the promoter company, Century Bank will provide loan financing for the project. The project will be financed through 70 percent loan and 30 percent equity. 

Lower Chirkhwa Khola Hydropower Project is a Cascade type of Hydropower project which utilizes the water that flows from the outlet of Upper Chirkhwa Hydropower Project. The project with the installed capacity of 4.06 MW will be constructed in  Shadananda Municipality of Bhojpur. The project is being developed by LC Energy Private Limited.

The hydropower project will generate 25.11 GWh of electricity annually. Out of this, 4.23 GWh will be produced in dry season and 20.88 GWh electricity will be generated in wet season.

The total estimated cost of the project is Rs. 75.73 crores.
