Lumbini General Insurance Conducting 18th AGM Today | To Endorse Merger & Dividend

Lumbini General Insurance Company (LGI) will conduct its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Falgun 11, 2079 BS. The annual meeting will take place at Amritbhog Catering, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu. The AGM will start after 10 AM.
The major agendas for the AGM are:
Discussion and approval of the financial report of the fiscal year 2078/79.
Appointment of auditor for the fiscal year 2079/80.
Endorsement of 7.35 percent dividend to the shareholders.
Approval of merger with Sagarmatha Insurance Company at share swap ratio of 100:80.
Book Closure Date:
For the purpose of the AGM, Lumbini General Insurance had announced the book closure date on Magh 27, 2079 BS. Thus, investors purchasing the shares until Magh 26 are eligible for the dividend and can participate in the AGM.
