Mega Bank Provides ‘Corporate-Pay’ Service For Digital Payments

Mega Bank Nepal Limited is going to launch ‘corporatePAY’ system for its institutional customers so that digital payments can be made from bank accounts. Anupama Khunjeli, Chief Executive Officer of Mega Bank Nepal Limited and Nileshman Singh Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Clearing House Limited signed the agreement.
Through this digital medium provided by Mega Bank to its business customers, customers will be able to easily transfer money, pay salaries, vendor payments, government revenue payments and other various business payments from their accounts without going to the bank. Mega Bank has stated that through this system, payment related transactions can be done in connect IPS or NCHL-IPS even in real-time or non-realtime.
In order to join corporatePAY, the customer will have to contact Mega Bank and complete the necessary process including approval for launching “corporatePAY” system. After that, customers will be able to make any payments within the specified limit without the direct involvement of the bank. Multi-Layer Authentication is a secure way to access this system, while any transaction entered and approved by the authorized users can be done only by the authorized users. In addition, customers can link more than one bank account in this system as per their requirement.
Mega Bank, which has been providing various digital payment mediums for its customers, believes that the launch of this corporatePAY system will further help in providing digital payment services to the bank’s business customers. After the use and expansion of this system, business customers will be more comfortable as various payment transactions can be done online without having to be present at the bank’s branch office, the bank said.
