MetLife opens new agency office in Surkhet

MetLife Nepal’s Vice President and General Manager Nirmal Kajee Shrestha inaugurated a new agency office in the far western city of Birendranagar, Surkhet district. This is MetLife’s 32nd office in all of Nepal and 5th in the far western region.
The expansion will provide additional access to facilities and convenience to our customers in and around Surkhet and Karnali regions. The new office will provide customers with services like application and premium collection, policy delivery and other support services related to policy changes, reinstatement, customer inquiry handling, and document processing.
“As we are planning to spread our services throughout the country, the addition of this office will add value to our customers in the far western region,” said Shrestha. “The location and provision of additional services will increase our ability to serve our customers and assist us in expanding further in the region.”
MetLife has been operating in Nepal since 2001 as a branch of American Life Insurance Company, incorporated in the USA, subsidiary of MetLife, Inc. In Nepal, MetLife provides consumers and businesses with life insurance, accident & health insurance and employee benefits (group insurance).
