Mirmire Laghubitta Acquires Buddha Jyoti Laghubitta | Joint Operation From Today

Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MMFDB) has successfully acquired Buddha Jyoti Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited. Both the companies will commence joint operation from Bhadra 15, 2079 BS in the name of ‘Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited’.
Nepal Rastra Bank provided the final approval for the acquisition on Bhadra 6, 2079 BS. The two microfinance companies have already endorsed the acquisition from their respective special general meeting (SGM) held on Ashad 31, 2079 BS.
Previously, Mirmire Laghubitta and Buddha Jyoti Laghubitta had signed a preliminary memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the acquisition on Falgun 27, 2078 BS. Tek Bahadur Bohara, Chairman of Mirmire Laghubitta and Govinda Pandey, Chairman of Buddha Jyoti Laghubitta inked the agreement.
Mirmire Microfinance had a head office in Banepa of Kavrepalanchok while the central office of Buddhajyoti Microfinance was in Rupandehi district.
After the acquisition, the head office will be located at Banepabazar, Kavrepalanchowk.
Before the acquisition of Buddha Jyoti Laghubitta, Mirmire Laghubitta had acquired Cweda Laghubitta and Nagbeli Laghubitta.
