Mountain Energy Nepal to Invest in 65 MW Dudhkhola Hydroelectric Project

Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has informed about the investment in Dudhkhola Hydroelectric Project.
The company’s board of directors’ meeting held on Mangsir 6, 2081 BS has decided to invest in Dudhkhola Hydroelectric Project promoted by Sita Hydropower Company Pvt. Ltd.
Sita Hydropower Companyis developing a 65 MW Dudhkhola Hydroelectric Project in Manang district of Gandaki Province. The project is a run-of-river type project located at Nashong Rural Municipality of Manang district.
Sita Hydropower received the construction license on Shrawan 25, 2079 BS. The construction license has a validity until Shrawan 24, 2114 BS.
Mountain Energy Nepal Limited is currently operating two hydropower projects namely-
5 MW Tadi Khola Hydroelectric Project
42 MW Mistri Khola Hydroelectric Project
