National Life Insurance Proposes 13.15 Percent Dividend from FY 2081/82

National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2081/82.

NLICL has proposed a 13.15789474 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 4 percent bonus share and a 9.15789474 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2081 BS, National Life Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 5.47 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 21.89 crores, and the cash dividend amounts to Rs 50.11 crores.

From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, National Life Insurance had distributed a 15.79 percent dividend, including a 5 percent bonus share and a 10.79 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes).

After the proposed 4 percent bonus share inclusion, the paid-up capital of NLICL  will reach Rs. 5.69 Arba.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming AGM.
