Nepal Investment Bank (NIBL) Reappoints Jyoti Prakash Pandey As CEO

Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) has appointed Mr Jyoti Prakash Pandey as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Jyoti Prakash Pandey will continue his new term as CEO starting from Shrawan 1, 2077. He will lead the bank for next four years. Pandey’s term was coming to an end in Ashad.

He started his career from Nepal Rastra Bank as an assistant in the General Services Department 39 years ago. After working for 11 months, he left Nepal Rastra Bank. Pandey also worked at NIDC in 1987. After NIDC, he started working in the then Indosuez Bank.
He went to Himalayan Bank and worked for a period from 1992 to 2002. On the initiative of Prithvi Bahadur Pandey and others who played an important role in the establishment of Himalayan Bank, Indosuez Bank was purchased by Nepali Group.
After Nepalis bought Indosuez, the name was changed to ‘Nepal Investment Bank’. After that, Pandey worked in an investment bank. He became the bank’s chief executive officer eight years ago.
Pandey holds an MBA from Patna University and a bachelor’s degree from Kolkata. His schooling was at St. Xavier’s School in Kathmandu.
