Nepal Telecom’s 4G Users Surpass One Crore

The number of 4G customers of Nepal Telecom has reached more than 1 crore. As of Chaitra 2078 BS, the number of 4G subscribers has reached 1,04,21,976. In the previous months, such number stood at 98.93 lakhs.
However, the number of 3G customers has declined to 94.82 lakhs. Until the month of Falgun, the number of 3G subscribers stood at 99.44 lakhs.
Nepal Telecom has been expanding the 4G-LTE services across the country by upgrading it to modern technology since Ashwin 15, 2076 BS. It had introduced 4G-LTE service in Kathmandu and Pokhara for the first time in Nepal in Poush 17, 2073 BS.
LTE technology is a state-of-the-art technology that can be used for high speed internet as well as high quality voice call services through mobile. It provides high-speed internet access, making it easy to use quality audio-visual content, games and other bandwidth-enabled content.
