The stock market of Nepal witnessed a rise in index as well as turnover this week. The index which stood at 2684.01 points at the end of the previous week closed on 2780.81 points this week. Overall, Nepse Index gained 96.8 points in the 5 trading days.

The total turnover for the week stood at Rs. 52.60 Arba. The average turnover of the day was Rs. 10.52 Arba. The total market capitalization of the index is Rs. 38.67 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) was the top turnover stock of the week. Likewise, Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) is the top stocks in terms of number of transactions. Nepal Telecom is the top company in terms of the highest market capitalization.
