Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana To Invest In Middle Mewa Hydropower & Siwa Khola Hydropower Project

Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited has informed about the investment in Middle Mewa Hydropower Project & Siwa Khola Hydropower Project.

The company’s board of directors’ meeting held on Ashad 15, 2079 BS has decided to invest Rs. 5 crores in these two projects. Both the projects are being constructed by Mewa Developers Limited.

Middle Mewa Hydropower Project is a Peaking Run of River (PROR) type project with an installed capacity of 73.5 MW. The project is located at Mikhwa Khola & Meringden Rural Municipality of Taplejung district.

Likewise, Siwa Khola Hydropower Project is a Run of the River (ROR) type project with an installed capacity of 9.3 MW. The project lies in the Siwa River located at the Taplejung District of Nepal.

Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited is currently operating a 5 MW Upper Hugdi Khola Jalabidhyut Pariyojana in Gulmi District.
