Sabaiko Laghubitta Proposes 18.95 Percent Dividend

Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SABSL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.

The microfinance has proposed an 18.95 percent dividend. The total dividend includes an 18 percent bonus share and a 0.95 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Sabaiko Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 27 crores. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 4.86 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 25.57 lakh.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company.

From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, the company had provided a 32.68 percent dividend, including a 31.05 percent bonus share. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2076/77, Sabaiko Laghubitta had distributed an 11.05 percent dividend, including a 10.50 percent bonus share. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2075/76, the company had provided a 13 percent bonus share to the shareholders.
