Himali Hydro Fund To Develop 9 MW Sona Khola Hydroelectric Project

Himali Hydro Fund Pvt. Ltd. is going to construct Sona Khola Hydroelectric Project. The company has received the construction license for the project from the Department of electricity development. The department issued the license on Poush 28, 2078 BS. The construction license has validity until Poush 27, 2113 BS.
Sona Khola Hydroelectric Project is a Run-of-River (ROR) type hydropower project with an installed capacity of 9.00 MW. It will generate electricity through Sona Khola & Khahare Khola located at Papung (Taplejung).
