Suman Sharma Appointed As CEO Of Sunrise Bank

The Board of Directors of Sunrise Bank Limited has appointed Suman Sharma as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr Sharma has been appointed to the post for a period of 4 years.
Sharma started his career with Nepal SBI Bank in 1997 after obtaining a master’s degree in economics and physics from Tribhuvan University, the bank said. He obtained his MBA degree from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands in 2005 after working for SBI Bank for seven years. Sharma is also a gold medalist in Economics and MBA in Finance, the bank said.
After returning to Nepal, Sharma worked for NMB Bank for 10 years, Machhapuchchhre Bank for 3 years and Global IME Bank for 6 months. Before joining Sunrise Bank as the Chief Executive Officer, Sharma had worked as the Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchchhre Bank for 21 months. He has 22 years of experience in the banking sector.
