Sunrise Bank To Skip Dividend From FY 2078/79

Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) has informed about the dividend to the shareholders from the fiscal year 2078/79.

The bank has decided to retain all earnings from the last fiscal year. Hence, the shareholders of the bank will not receive any dividends.

The board of directors’ meeting held on Mangsir 25, 2079 BS [December 11, 2022] has approved the financial statements of the fiscal year 2078/79.

Now, the financial statements are subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM)

From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, Sunrise Bank had distributed a 7 percent dividend including a 6.65 percent bonus share and a 0.35 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Sunrise Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs. 10.11 Arba.
