Surya Life Insurance Earns Rs 29.10 Crores In Nine Months (Q3 Report)

Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) has posted a profit of Rs. 29.10 crores until the third quarter of this fiscal year 2077/78. As per the unaudited report, the profit has surged by 55 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Last year, the life insurance earned Rs. 18.67 crores until the third quarter.
Surya Life Insurance has collected a net premium of Rs. 3.23 Arba during the nine months period. This is 82 percent higher than the same period of the previous year. However, the net claim has surged by 100 percent to Rs. 50 crores.
As of Chaitra end 2077 BS, SLICL has a paid-up capital of Rs. 2.26 Arba with Rs. 80 crores in reserve and surplus. The company has Rs. 10.01 Arba in life assurance fund.
The annualized per share earnings (EPS) and per share networth stand at Rs. 17.15 and Rs. 130.97.
