Tamor Sanima Energy To Develop 255.28 MW Upper Tamor Hydroelectric Project

Tamor Sanima Energy is planning to develop a 255.28 MW Upper Tamor Hydroelectric Project. The company has already applied to the Nepal Electricity Authority for a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to proceed with the construction of the project. 

NEA has submitted to the Electricity Regulatory Commission for the determination of the purchase and sale rate of the electricity produced by the proposed project and agreement on the power purchase.

Upper Tamor Hydroelectric Project a semi-reservoir project. The project is located in Phattanglung and Fungling Rural Municipality of Taplejung. 

The project will produce 2479.88 gigawatt hours of electricity annually.

The estimated cost of the project is about Rs. 46 billion.
