Vijaya Laghubitta Proposes 21.05 Percent Dividend

Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (VLBS) has declared a dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.

The microfinance company has proposed a 21.0526 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 20 percent bonus share and a 1.0526 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Vijaya Laghubitta has a  paid-up capital of Rs 32 crores. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 6.40 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 33.68 lakhs.

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, VLBS had distributed a 21.085 percent dividend, including a 20.031 percent bonus share and a 1.054 percent cash dividend.

Similarly, in the fiscal year 2076/77, the company had provided a 20 percent dividend, including a 19 percent bonus share. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2075/76, Vijaya Laghubitta had distributed a 20 percent dividend, including a 15 percent bonus shares and a 5 percent cash dividend.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM.

After the inclusion of the proposed bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs. 38.4 crores.
